Ram Temple consecration: Four special trains from Punjab to Ayodhya in February
Phagwara/UNI: Union Minister Som Parkash on Thursday said four special trains will run from Punjab to facilitate the people to visit Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh in the month of February.
The consecration ceremony of the idol of Ram Lalla at the Ram temple in Ayodhya will take place on January 22.
Parkash said two trains will be run from Pathankot and one each from Chandigarh and Nangal Dam.
He said that the first train will leave from Pathankot on February 9 at 0705am and reach Ayodhya Cantt on February 10 at 1455hrs.
The train will leave Ayodhya on February 11 at 1240hrs and reach Pathankot at 1900hrs, he said.
The second train will start from Nangal Dam on February 12 at 0700hrs and reach Ayodhya Cantt on February 13 at 1455hrs. It will begin its return journey on February 14 at 1240hrs and reach Nangal Dam at 1645 hrs.
The third train will leave Chandigarh on February 19 at 1020hrs and reach Ayodhya Cantt on February 20 at 1455hrs. It will return on February 21 at 1240hrs and reach Chandigarh at 1605hrs.
The fourth train will start on February 23 from Pathankot at 0705hrs and reach Ayodhya Cantt on February 24 at 1455hrs, he said. It will begin its return journey on February 25 at1240hrs and reach Pathankot at 1900hr.
Parkash said thousands of devotees could visit Ayodhya, a Holy City to pay obeisance easily with this facility.
