Telangana: Roof of a tunnel collapses in Nagarkurnool, 6 feared trapped
At least six people are feared to be trapped after the roof of a tunnel in Telangana's Nagarkurnool district collapsed on Saturday, media reports said.
The number of trapped individuals was initially thought to be 30.
The portion of the tunnel collapsed behind the Srisailam dam when some workers went inside to repair a leak.
Three workers, who were trapped inside the tunnel, managed to escape from the spot.
A rescue mission is currently underway to pull out the trapped people.
Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed shock over the incident.
