Assam Rifles provides crucial assistance in a road accident at Manipur

In a display of humanitarian gesture, Assam Rifles personnel swiftly responded to a road accident on NH 37 between Kaimai and Shantikhunao in Manipur on Tuesday (February 11), when an oil tanker collided with a minivan resulting in injuries to the ten occupants of van and extensive damage to both vehicles. Assam Rifles personnel in the vicinity, immediately sprang into action, rushing to the accident site along with medical assistance.
The medical team tended to the injured, while the Assam Rifles persons cleared the accident site, ensuring the road was open for traffic to ply. The selfless service by Assam Rifles personnel were appreciated by the local community.
