Assam Rifles seized Brown Sugar worth Rs. 27.30 lakh, detained a smuggler from Assam
Assam Rifles seized 39 gms of Brown Sugar worth Rs 27.30 Lacs from General Area Kalain, under Kalain PS, Cachar District, Assam on 22 February 2024.
Based on credible information, a joint operation was launched by Assam Rifles and Kalain PS. The team seized 39 gms of Brown Sugar worth Rs 27.30 Lacs and apprehended one drug peddler alongwith an auto and one iPhone.
Seized contents and apprehended individual were handed over to Kalain police station, Cachar District, Assam on 22 February 2024 for further investigation & legal proceedings.
