Akshay Kumar confirms Paresh Rawal's return to Hera Pheri 3, declines 'publicity stunt' claim
Mumbai/IBNS: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has confirmed Paresh Rawal's return to the starcast of Hera Pheri 3.
Akshay said the film is back on track as issues with Paresh Rawal are solved.
Akshay said Rawal's exit and return were not a publicity stunt.
Speaking to Hindustan Times' The Right Angle, Akshay said, "No, it was not a publicity stunt. The things had gone legal so it was definitely not a publicity stunt. It was a real thing. But everything is sorted now. An announcement can come at any moment."
"It was a little bit of a tussle. Everything is solved now and we are all together," he added.
Rawal had announced a shock exit from the franchise in May this year.
Following this, Akshay, who is also producing the film under the banner Cape of Good Films, had filed a case related to the film.
Without elaborating what had caused the tiff, Rawal too in a recent interview said he was back in the film.
Hera Pheri 3, the third installment of the comedy franchise, marks the reunion of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty and director Priyadarshan.
