Golden Globe Awards: SS Rajamouli's RRR wins best original song for Naatu Naatu
Filmmaker SS Rajamouli's Indian film in Telugu language, RRR, scripted history at the 80th Golden Globe Awards winning the best original song for its massively popular Naatu Naatu number.
However, RRR missed out another category, Best Non-English Language Film, in which it was also nominated.
Argentina, 1985 from the country Argentina has won the award for the Best Non-English Language Film.

The award ceremony was attended by the RRR team comprising Rajamouli, lead actors Jr NTR, Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni.
Jr NTR and Ram Charan have played the freedom fighters in the period drama, which is set in British India.
Apart from the two south Indian superstars, the film features Hindi film veteran Ajay Devgn and leading Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt in the lead.

Not just the Golden Globes Awards, Rajamouli's RRR has been shortlisted for the 95th Academy Awards or Oscars in various categories.
The film that had earned Rs. 1,200 crore globally was released on Mar 25, 2022.
