Vidya Balan and Rajesh Sharma recite Sukumar Ray's Abol Tabol on Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 night shoot
Mumbai/IBNS: Guess how Vidya Balan and co-actor Rajesh Sharma spent the night shoot of their recently released horror-comedy film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. It's by reciting a poem of legendary author Sukumar Ray.

Vidya has shared a video on her Instagram handle where the two were seen reciting a poem from Abol Tabol, a collection of Bengali rhymes and poems.
Vidya also revealed it was Rajesh who actually had taught her the poem seven years ago. After all these years, Vidya clearly remembers the poem written by Sukumar Ray, the father of maestro Satyajit Ray.
Sharing the video on Instagram, Vidya wrote, "In between scenes,on a night shoot for BB3, I attempt remembering the 1st #aaboltaabol I learnt from my dear co-actor amar bondhu #RajeshSharma 7 years ago on another set."
Abol Tabol, which is considered a benchmark in Bengali literature, completed 100 years in 2023.
The poem which the duo read out was Sat Patra, which tells the story how a Bengali father in those days was keen to get his daughter married to a 'suitable groom' irrespective of his vices.
Vidya, 45, has a connection with West Bengal through her works. She made her film debut with Bengali project, Bhalo Theko.
In 2005, Vidya made her Bollywood debut with Parineeta, which was based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's Bengali novella of the same name.
Amid her several hits, Vidya is fondly remembered for playing a Bengali woman in Sujoy Ghosh's action-thriller film Kahaani, which was shot in Kolkata.
Rajesh too has a Bengal connection as the actor has worked in Kolkata for long. He has featured in a huge number of Bengali films including iconic director Rituparno Ghosh's Shubho Mahurat.
The actor was also married to Bengali actress Sudipta Chakraborty.
Vidya and Rajesh together collaborated in a number of Hindi films, namely, Parineeta, Ishqiya, The Dirty Picture, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Vidya returned to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise with the third installment, which is helmed by Anees Bazmee.
Vidya shared the screen space with Kartik Aaryan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri in the lead.
