Bengal Pro T20 League: Dubrajpur's MGR Sports Academy named as a venue for women's matches
Kolkata, April 26, 2025 – The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) is pleased to announce that the MGR Sports Academy in Dubrajpur, Birbhum will host the women’s matches of the second edition of the Bengal Pro T20 League. The Final will however be played at the majestic and iconic Eden Gardens.
The women’s competition, is a key feature of the Bengal Pro T20 League and will see top talent from across the state compete at one of the finest cricketing facilities in Birbhum district. The decision underscores the CAB’s commitment to promoting the game across Bengal and providing world-class opportunities for women cricketers.
Mr. Snehasish Ganguly, President of the Cricket Association of Bengal, said “We are delighted to take the Bengal Pro T20 League women’s matches to Dubrajpur. MGR Sports Academy offers excellent facilities and a passionate local cricket culture. It is important for us to expand the reach of the game across the state and ensure that every young cricketer, especially our talented women players, gets a platform to perform and inspire.”
Jhulan Goswami, legendary Indian cricketer and mentor for women’s cricket in Bengal, said:

The second edition of the Bengal Pro T20 League promises to be bigger and better, featuring both men’s and women’s tournaments, with a strong emphasis on unearthing and nurturing the next generation of cricketing stars from Bengal.
