After trailing in the match initially, Harmanpreet converted his second penalty corner of the match, helping India turn the tie on its head.

This comes after Marc Miralles converted a penalty stroke to give Spain a narrow lead in the second quarter.

This is Indian goalkeeper PR Sreejesh last international match, and the team gave him a memorable farewell right after winning it.

After a painful loss to Germany in the semifinal, India triumphantly bounced back in the Olympic bronze medal match.
