5,636 candidates appeared for TBJEE
The joint entrance examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) held on Tuesday across the state for both group-A and B peacefully.
TBJEE sources said that the board this year has set up 15 examination centres at Dharmanagar, Kailasahar, Ambassa, Udaipur, Santirbazar and 9 in Agartala and altogether 5,636 candidates appeared in the both categories of examinations.
Candidates seeking admission in engineering, technological degree courses had appeared in the Group-A examinations (physics, chemistry and mathematics) and those seeking admission to various degree courses of veterinary, agriculture, fisheries, paramedical and others had appeared in the Group-B examinations (physics, chemistry and biology).
All the examinations were conducted in a single day from morning 11 AM and continued up to 30.30 PM in the afternoon. So far no untoward incident was reported from any of the examination centres and all the examinations were conducted peacefully.
