AR seized 250kgs dry Ganja from Sepahijala district
The Agartala battalion of Assam Rifles seized 250 kilograms of Cannabis (dry Ganja) hidden underneath at the backyard of one Motilal Das of Manikaynagar village under Sepahijala district on Tuesday.
Assam Rifles sources said that based on the input received from a reliable source of a large quantity of illegal processed Marijuana hidden at Maniknagar village, a joint operation was launched by Agartala Battalion of Assam Rifles with representatives of Kalamchowra police station.
The operation party after thorough search of the area seized 250 kgs of Cannabis. The cost of the seized Cannabis is estimated to be of Rs 70 Lakhs by the state police. The seized dry Ganja has been handed over to Kalamchowra police station and an FIR has been registered against the house owner from where the items have been recovered.
