AR seized large quantities of Ganja from Kumarghat
The Radhanagar Battalion of Agartala Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), seized 500 kg Marijuana worth Rs 2 crore from general area Kumarghat, under Unakoti district on Thursday.
Assam Rifles said that based on the credible information, a joint operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion and Kumarghat police station and the team seized 500 kg Marijuana (Ganja) worth Rs. 2 Crore.
Seized Ganja were handed over to Kumarghat police station for further investigation and legal proceedings. Assam Rifles highlighted its commitment towards drug free society.
