BJP confident of forming government in TTAADC: CM
Strong public support signals BJP win in ADC: CM
Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr Manik Saha on Wednesday said that this time, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will definitely form the government in the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC).
He said that the unwavering faith and trust of the Janajati brothers and sisters is one of the main strengths of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the ADC area.
“BJP is the only reliable option for the overall development of the ADC area and for improving the quality of life of the people,” he said.
Dr Saha said while participating in the nomination filing ceremony of Bharatiya Janata Party candidates on Wednesday in view of the TTAADC elections.
The BJP-nominated candidates in Longtharai Valley are Bipin Debbarma (Damchhara-Kachuchhara), Sukesh Dutta Barua (Manu-Chailenga), and Esmail Joy Tripura (Chawmanu).
Dr Saha said that today is the last day to submit nomination papers for the ADC elections.
“The state leadership of our Bharatiya Janata Party has participated in the nomination submission process everywhere. That is why I have also come to Longtharai Valley. Today, three candidates from the Bharatiya Janata Party have filed their nomination papers here, and I participated with them. Arrangements were made for filing their nomination papers through a huge rally. There has been a lot of enthusiasm among the people. It seems that a glimpse of how elections should be conducted in a democratic manner has been witnessed today,” said Dr Saha. The Chief Minister also said that there is great enthusiasm among the people.
“People have immense trust and faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been proven by their spontaneous participation. Today, three of our candidates have filed their nomination papers here. Thus, 28 of our candidates are filing their nomination papers across the state today. We are confident that this time the Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government in the ADC,” he said.
MLA Shambhu Lal Chakma, the three BJP-nominated candidates, and other senior leaders were present along with the Chief Minister at the function.
A large number of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and workers joined the nomination paper submission procession on Wednesday.
