Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha visits Dharmanagar and Sabroom, review preparations for Amit Shah rallies
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha visited Sabroom and Dharmanagar to supervise the preparations for the proposed programs of the Union Home Minister Amit Saha , who will flag off 7-day long BJP’s Rath Yatra on January 5th next.
During the visits, Chief Minister along with ICA Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, deputy speaker Bishwabandhu Sen and other leaders had also talked to the party leaders and gave necessary instructions for the preparations.
The Rath Yatras will travel all 60 assembly constituencies of the state to culminate in Agartala on January 12 when the BJP national president JP Nadda will receive them. There will be three major meetings at Dharmanagar, Sabroom and Agartala in connection with the Rath Yatra. In addition to that several other road shows and public meetings will be there throughout the routes of the two Rathas. Several other central leaders including Smriti Irani, Himanta Biswa Sharma, Sarbananda Sonowal will remain present. Chief Minister also talked to the party leaders and gave necessary instructions to make the public gatherings a success. The party has already set a target of reaching over 10 lakh people during this Yatra. The BJP state president Rajib Bhattacharjee is keeping close watch over the progress of the arrangements and a committee under the leadership of the ICA Minister Sushanta Choudhury is supervising the things.
