City police recovered 10 crude bombs, one arrested
The Agartala city on Saturday evening during Naka checking at bordering Gul Chakkar area detained a miscreant and recovered 10 crude bombs under his possession.
SDPO (Sadar) Ajoy Kumar Das sharing details said that during Naka checking Gul Chakkar area, police noticed suspected movements of two youths and tried to detain them. One miscreant managed to escape from the spot and police detained another miscreant identified as Amir Hussain of Rajnagar area under West Agartala police station.
Das said during checking, police recovered ten crude bombs under his possession and arrested him. He said that the bomb disposal squad of the state police has been informed for disposal of the recovered bombs. Police started investigation over storage of such quantities of bomb and has also launched search operation to arrest escaped miscreant Mobarak Ali alias Tinku of Border Gul Chakkar area.
