CM appeals to keep peace and harmony
The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has urged the people of the state to maintain peace in every part of the state after announcement of poll results on 2nd March, 2023. It is on that day the Election results will be declared for 60 seats in the state and he added that everyone must be alert about peace and harmony.
Chief Minister through social media on Monday said that "the Election has taken place in a peaceful manner as the common people of the state gave their votes on 16th February, 2023 to make the democracy even stronger.
The results will be declared on 2nd March, 2023, hence I urge everyone that like the day of Election there must be peace in the state on that day as well. The Election Commission and the state administration have taken all the steps to make sure that peace prevails in the state. “I believe that everyone will do their best to maintain peace even after the results are declared,” said Dr Saha.
The Tripura State Assembly Election 2023 took place in a peaceful manner. There were one or two odd incidents of violence which were reported but barring that the situation was good in the state. The Election Commission and state administration took proper step to make sure that any unwanted incidents are not repeated in the state. Chief Minister also gave a peace message and the netizens have also appreciated this message by the Chief Minister.
