CM Dr Manik Saha meets PM, assures of all central help
Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, who was in Delhi had a courtesy meet with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday. This is the first time that the Chief Minister met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi after taking oath as Chief Minister of the 2nd BJP-IPFT government in Tripura.
PM Narendra Modi congratulated the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha and Dr Saha gifted a picture of Ujjayanta Palace made up of bamboo and there were discussions on different issues related to the state which took place among themselves. Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of the state as they elected BJP as the ruling party for the second time in a row.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured that all the assistance and help will be provided by the Central government for the development of the state in the coming days. He also instructed that steps must be taken to make the party organisation even stronger from an organizational point of view.
The Chief Minister Professor Dr Manik Saha was happy to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and added that the advice and the direction which has been given and shown will be used and it will play a very important role for the development of the state.
Apart from this, Dr Manik Saha also called on the President Draupadi Murmu, vice president Jagdip Dhankhar, Union Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Defence minister Rajnath Singh and the BJP national president JP Nadda and paid his courtesy to all of them besides seeking co-operation to proper development process of the state. Dr Saha said that he had received warm reception everywhere and was assured all possible assistance and co-operation for the development of the state.
