CM praises speedy disposal of cases in HC of Tripura
Tripura progressing with passing of time and with positive thoughts, institutions like the High Court of Tripura are with the cooperation of all, said Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha.
Dr Saha speaking at the 10th foundation day of the High Court of Tripura during a programme held at the HC complex on Sunday evening said that the High Court is working in a proper way because of everyone’s effort while the state government is committed to development of infrastructure in the state.
He said that the High Court of Tripura acclaimed a high status in the country for solving pending cases at heavy speed, which are giving a great relief to common people of the state.
He said that with limited resources, the state government has constituted the National Law University and Judicial Academy and initiatives have been taken to set up a Law College through private investment.
He has also drawn the attention of the Chief Justice of the High Court to make sure that the vacancies at the Judiciary level of the state must be filled up at the earliest.
The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha further said common people want justice and appealed how relief can be given to people in the judicial system in terms of humanitarian point of view. The Chief Justice of the High Court of Tripura T Amarnath Goud and Senior Advocate gave speeches during the programme. Justice Arindam Lodh, Advocate General Siddhartha Sankar Dey, Bar Council Chairman Ratan Datta and few others were present in this programme. The senior advocate Sankar Deb was felicitated for completing 50 years as a lawyer.
