CM slams Tipra Motha over loot and corruption in TTAADC

Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday strongly criticized the Tipra Motha Party for the reign of loot and corruption in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council and said that BJP is the only party that ensures development of Janjati people.

The Chief Minister said this after a road show in Bodhjangnagar-Wakhinagar, Simna-Tamakari, Jirania and Mandainagar-Pulinpur centres on Wednesday for the TTAADC elections.

Dr Saha said the Tipra Motha-led administration has failed to work despite being given a lot of money at different times.

“From day one we are in the field and have been working since we have decided to contest in all the 28 seats. Not only this, three months before the declaration we have been working in the Janjati areas. We know that BJP will be contesting the TTAADC 2026 election alone because the way the reign of loot and corruption is underway in ADC. Even as the public have given them chances, they have not worked for the public. I have visited some rooms of smoke houses, really very pathetic condition. We have given funds, Rs 35 crore for hospital, and then out of budget Rs 10 crore given, and for different projects Rs 30 crore given, but I have not seen any work,” said Dr Saha.

He said that people have understood that such government, and before that CPIM, Congress was there, and people have tested them.

“Only the Bharatiya Janata Party can run the government with transparency and the people have understood that. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is always sincere about the development of tribals,” he said.
