Crude bomb blast in Badharghat stadium: Two school students suffered injuries
In a tragic incident, two minor students suffered critical injuries after two crude bombs blast incident at the Badharghat stadium under AD Nagar police station.
Police sources said that two boys identified as Abhijit Shil (15) studying in class-8th and Deep Das (12) studying in calss-6th entered in abandoned bamboo made room at the back side of Dasarath Dev stadium in Badharghat and found two ball like things covered with gunny made ropes. On curiosity both of them took these ball shaped things, which are crude bombs and blasted them instantly.
As a result, after a huge blast sound of these boys suffered critical injuries and both hands of Abhijit Shil were cut into pieces.
Hearing a huge sound blast, immediately local people rushed to the spot and shifted both injured boys to GB Hospital.
Later, SDPO(Sadar) Ashish Dasgupta along with a bomb disposal squad of the state police rushed to the spot and they also recovered some crude bombs from the spot.
Police suspected that during recently held election time, suspected miscreants might have stored these bombs and when these boys entered into the abandoned room out of curiosity they picked two of the crude bombs and blasted them.
Police added that they started investigation by registering a specific case over the recovery of crude bombs and injuries of two minor boys.
