Deepa Dasmunsi head for AICC screening committee for Tripura, Pawan Khera media head

The All India Congress Committee (AICC) president has constituted ‘screening committees’ for three poll bound states including Tripura,Meghalaya and Nagaland.

A press statement issued by AICC on Wednesday afternoon signed by general secretary K C Venugopal said that senior party leader Smt. Deepa Dasmunsi has been made chairman for the screening committee of Tripura with two members including Kamleshwar Patel, MLA and SA Sampath Kumar.

The ex-officio members of the committee are AICC in-charge for Tripura,  Dr Ajoy Kumar, Pradesh Congress president Birajit Sinha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman and AICC secretary Ms. Szarita Laitphlang.

In another significant decision, the AICC has appointed party’s national spokesperson Pawan Khera as AICC media coordinator for media and communication for Tripura Pradesh Congress and are to be stationed in Agartala until the conclusion of the next assembly elections, which is scheduled to be held in the mid part of February, 2023.
