Minor administrative reshuffle: One IAS, 8 senior TCS officers transferred

In a minor administrative reshuffle, altogether nine senior officers including one IAS and TCS super-selection grade (SSG) and TCS-Grade-I were transferred and posted to different departments of the state administration.

The General Administration (Personnel and Training) department through a notification issued on Tuesday said that incumbent Director of Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department Ratan Biswas has been transferred as director of GA (printing and stationary) department and will also hold the charge of secretary of Tripura Human Rights Commission.

The present secretary of ICA and Youth and Sports Affairs departments, Dr Pradeep Kumar Chakraborty, who is also holding the charge of secretary of Tripura Human Rights Commission (THRC) has been relieved from the post of secretary of THRC.

Suithuifru Mong, director of GA (printing and stationary) and registrar of Cooperatives societies has been relieved from the charge of director of GA (printing and stationary) department.

Senior TCS officer Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, holding the additional SPD of Sarva Shiksa Abhiyan with additional charge of additional director of Elementary Education has been transferred as new Director of ICA department and he will continue to hold the charge of additional director of ES and MP.’

Subhasis Bandopadhyay, additional chief electoral officer (CEO) has been transferred as new director of Elementary Education and will also hold the charge of additional SPD of Sarva Shiksa Abhiyan and the incumbent Inspector General of Prisons and director ES and MP has been relieved from the charges of director ES and MP.

The incumbent director of SC Welfare department with additional charges of MD of SC Corporation and MD of TJML will now also hold the charges of the director of ES and MP in addition.

Smt. Sumita Chakraborty, who is deputation to Joint Recruitment Board of Tripura (JRBT) has been transferred as deputy secretary of Home department and Smt Debamita Kilikdar, the present deputy secretary under Home department, her services are placed at JRBT under Directorate of Employment Services & Manpower Planning department of Tripura government.
