OCs 10 police stations transferred including West and East Agartala
Just after the announcement of poll schedules for Tripura by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the officer-in-charge (OCs) of 10 police stations including two main police stations of Agartala has been transferred.
As the per the fresh order issued by the Tripura police headquarters on January 18 said that OC of West Agartala police station Jayanta Kumar Dey has been transferred as of Sabroom police station and Oc of East Agartala police station Rana Chatterjee transferred to Government Railway Police (GRP) wing of the state police.
The incumbent OC of Sabroom police station Samaresh Das transferred as new OC of West Agartala police station and Inspector Sanjit Sen transferred from GRP to OC of East PS.
The OC of AD Nagar police station Sanjib Laskar transferred as OC of Kailasahar police station and incumbent of OC of Kailasahar PS Bijoy Das transferred to AD Nagar police PS, who will now look after the charges of OC.
OC of NCC police station Subir Malakar will replace the OC of Kadamtala PS and incumbent OC of Kadamtala PS, Sushanta deb will now look after the charges of OC of NCC PS.
Similarly, OC of Lefunga PS Siddhartha Sarkar posted as OC of Gandacherra PS and present OC of Gandacherra Partha Nath Bhowmik will look after the charges of OC for Lefunga police station.
