The East Agartala Police have achieved a major breakthrough in the chain-snatching case reported from the Bankumari area of Agartala, arresting one accused along with the motorcycle allegedly used in the crime.
According to police sources, the investigation began after a woman reported that her chain had been snatched in the Bonkumari area. Taking the incident seriously, the East Agartala Police launched an investigation and began working on various leads to identify those involved.
During the course of the investigation, police gathered crucial information and subsequently conducted an operation in the Radhanagar area. One suspect was apprehended along with the motorcycle allegedly used during the chain-snatching incident.
Police are now interrogating the arrested person to gather information about other individuals who may have been involved in the crime. The seized motorcycle is also being examined as an important piece of evidence in the investigation.
East Agartala Police Station Officer-in-Charge Krishnadhan Sarkar said that one accused had been arrested from Radhanagar along with the motorcycle used in the Bonkumari chain-snatching case. He added that police are investigating whether any other persons were involved in the incident and are examining all other aspects of the case.
