Three days National Youth Peace Camp inaugurated
Working on the lines of ‘Vasudev Kutubhkam’ One God One Family, Friday National Youth Peace Camp inaugurated at Agartala, organized by Youth for integration trust, Global Peace Foundation coordinated by Yuva atta, Chandigarh Based NGO.
Earlier three camps were organised successfully in Chennai, Rajasthan and Chandigarh.
Speaking in the inaugural programme Dr Markandey Rai, former Advisor UN Habitat said that they have target is to prepare 500 strong youth peace brigades across India, who can contribute for inclusive growth of the country. It is essentially important for any progressive country and region to create opportunity for their youth to participate and take leadership role to meet future challenges, said Dr Rai.
Today's Session was inaugurated by Mr Ramesh Negi, Retd IAS and former Chairman DSCPCR, New Delhi addressing the youth, who came from Manipur, Sikkim, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Assam, Mr Negi mentioned about the important role of youth for healthy democracy .
Mr Pramod Sharma, founder Yuvasatta spoke about the mission and objectives of this movement and seek support of everyone to sensitize , educate the youth for better tomorrow.
Today's youth are facing many challenges as well as having global opportunities in this connected world , full of accessibility and information flow, said Mr Sandeep Mittal Dy.Director AIDS Control Society, chandigarh.

Addressing youth came from all North Eastern States, Dr Anil Jaggi founder Conscious Ventures spoke the extra ordinary Power India is having today with highest ratio of our young population , which not only can help India to lead but developed world is also seeking their help to remain competitive n productive. we just need to guide them to channelize their energy said Dr Jaggi.
Mr Rajnish Kumar president All India prohibition council and Youth peace Activist, Mr Vijay Bharatiya, Director South Asia Peace Alliance, Dr Dev Singh Director BKDSS Bundelkhand, Sri Ram from Nepal were also present there. Youth girls and boys from different states also preformed on their cultural programs for all participants. Mr Bibhuti Debbarma, President Youth for Integration Trust, Agartala gave his vote of thanks for today.
