Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury meets Union Railways Minister
The Transport, Food and Civil Supply Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Wednesday met the Union Minister of Railways, Communication, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Ashwini Vaishnaw at his official chamber in New Delhi.
Chowdhury Conveyed his best wishes to the Union Minister on the occasion of the Bengali new year by offering him a bouquet as a token of his good will and discussed with Ashwini Vaishnaw a number of issues concerning the vital interests of the state and apprised him of the overall situation of the railway connectivity of the state.
He also sought the intervention and necessary help of the Union Minister to resolve some problems over the expansion of railway connectivity .The union minister Ashwini Vaishnaw carefully listened to all the points raised by Sushanta Chowdhury and agreed with the rationality of the issues raised by him. Vaishnaw also promised to look into the issues raised by Chowdhury at the earliest and resolve them by taking appropriate action.
