Two brothers electrocuted, one died
Two brothers engaged in maintenance of high voltage electric lines at West Kaolicherra village of Kailashahar were electrocuted and among them one brother died and another was admitted to hospital in critical condition.
Sources said that two brothers Manzir Ali (32) and his younger brother Munin Ali struck with high voltage electric lines due to negligence of contractor Mihir Sharma as he, without shutting the jumpering of high tension electric lines, engaged both brothers for necessary maintenance. As a result both of them were electrocuted and were shifted to Unakoti district hospital.
Later, both of them were referred to GB Hospital, but on the way to hospital Manzir Ali succumbed due to his critical injuries. Injured Munin Ali are now admitted to district hospital.
