Wife beheaded her husband at Birganj
In order to get rid of year’s long atrocities, abusing and daily squabble issuing petty domestic subjects, one wife on Thursday afternoon killed her husband by beheading his head through sharp weapon at Kashipada colony area of Birganj police station under Gomati district.
Police sources said that one Premguru Jamatia (60) had often engaged in quarreling with his wife Kajal Kanya Jamatia disputing some petty family issues. Similarly, on Thursday morning engaged in fighting and after a heated altercation, Premguru started beating his wife and tried to kill her by strangulation.
After a few minutes of scuffle among themselves, Kajal Kanya hacked to death her husband with a sharp weapon (Dao) by beheading his head from his neck.
After she realized that she killed her husband, Kajal Kanya rushed to the Birganj police station and surrendered herself. She also narrated who she was daily abused and assaulted by her husband.
Later, police personnel from Birganj police station rushed to the spot with a forensic team and had collected all circumstantial evidence from the crime spot. After the post-mortem, the mortal remains of slain Premguru were handed over to his relatives for last rites.
Police added that they arrested Kajal Kanya and will produce her before a local court for further legal proceedings.
