Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari admitted to Karachi hospital after health deteriorates
Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has been admitted to a private hospital in Karachi after his health deteriorated, media reports said.
He was initially brought to the hospital from Nawabshah following complaints of fever and an infection, reported The Express Tribune.
According to reports, the President underwent several medical tests, and doctors are currently monitoring his health condition.
Party leaders have reassured the public, stating that President Zardari's condition has improved and he is now in better health, reported the newspaper.
The situation remains under observation, and further updates are expected in the coming days, they added.
According to reports, Pakistani PM Shehbaz Sharif inquired about the president's health.
Shehbaz Sharif wished him a speedy recovery.
He prayed for his health and was quoted as saying by the newspaper, “May Allah grant you a full and speedy recovery. The entire nation’s prayers are with you.”
