Eighth edition of Tata Steel Kolkata 25K announced; Jhulan Goswami, actress Koushani Mukherjee 'gems' this year
Kolkata/IBNS: Women's cricket legend Jhulan Goswami and Bengali actress Koushani Mukherjee have been announced as the "gems" of the eighth edition of Tata Steel Kolkata 25K.
The eighth edition was announced by Tata Steel recently in the city.
The event is dubbed as "Aamar Kolkata, Aamar Run" this year.

Actor Koushani Mukherjee highlighted the role of women in driving change and encouraged the participation of youngsters and older adults.
"I have always believed women have the power to bring about a change and influence society.
"The Tata Steel Kolkata 25K gives us just that; an opportunity to raise funds for causes or to indulge ourselves in the vibrant spirit of Kolkata," she said.
Chanakya Chaudhary, the Vice President of Corporate Services at Tata Steel, said, "Tata Steel Kolkata 25K is the biggest participative sporting celebration that unites the people of Kolkata with pride."

The eighth edition will be held at the Red Road in Kolkata on December 17.
